"Debido a los ataques y bombardeos estadounidenses en al-Qaim y las ciudades y pueblos de sus alrededores, 7.450 familias refugiadas de esta zona se han desplazado nuevamente hacia el oeste de Iraq."

Ante la previsión de nuevas ofensivas del Pentágono en la zona oeste de Iraq, 7.450 familias previamente refugiadas de al-Qaim, se han visto forzadas a un nuevo desplazamiento interno. Fuerzas estadounidenses y de la Guardia Nacional iraquí relanzaron finalmente sus operaciones aéreas y terrestres en tormo a al-Qaim y otras ciudades y pueblos cercanos (Ebeidi, Rabot, Sida, etc.) en los primeros días de octubre [1].

Estas nuevas ofensivas contrainsurgentes de EEUU fueron precedidas de las declaraciones del ministro iraquí de Defensa, Saadun Aa-Doleimi, efectuadas mientras se iniciaba un nuevo ataque contra Tal Afar, y en las que se avanzó nuevas operaciones de represalia contra las ciudades de al-Qaim, Ramadi, Rawa y Hadiza.

La nueva localización de estas familias refugiadas es la siguiente, según fuentes locales iraquíes no gubernamentales:

- 2.500 familias en las zonas del denominado Proyecto.
- 950, en Okashat.
- 1.500, en Anaa.
- 500, en Fheida.
- 50, en The Kilo 70.
- 100, en The kilo 8.
- 400, en Proyecto Fosfato.
- 350, en una fábrica de cemento.
- 400, en Tiran.
- 100, en Rellana.
- 200, en Hasa.
- 125, en Jibab.
- 100, en Nheiya y Nazwa.
- 75, en Maathid.

El creado Comité de Ayuda Humanitaria de Anaa (que ha aportado esta información a los interlocutores de la CEOSI en Bagdad) ha informado que varios centenares de familias están sitiadas en zonas que estaban siendo atacadas por las fuerzas de ocupación y de la Guardia Nacional, y de las que no podían huir. Como ejemplo, en la noche del sábado, 1 de octubre, siete miembros de una misma familia refugiada de al-Qaim murieron asesinados por disparos de soldados estadounidenses del Cuerpo de Marines, informa esta organización local.

Ayuda de emergencia de la CEOSI

El Comité de Ayuda Humanitaria de Anaa ha referido a nuestros interlocutores iraquíes que las necesidades más urgentes para esos campos de refugiados son tiendas de campaña, colchones y mantas (hace frío por la noche, especialmente en el desierto), y cualquier tipo de comestibles y medicinas.

A partir de esta información, se han destinado fondos disponibles de la Campaña sanitaria de la CEOSI [2] para la compra inmediata de alimentos por valor de 3.775 dólares [3] -relacionada a continuación y según se especifica en las facturas incluidas [4]- que han sido distribuidos entre los refugiados de Anna (ver fotos superiores):

1. Arroz (20 sacos).
2. Lentejas (20 sacos).
3. Harina (40 sacos).
4. Leche en polvo (12 cajas grandes).
5. Aceite (200 botellas de dos litros cada una, y una recipiente grande).
6. Azúcar (20 sacos).
7. Detergente (400 kilos).
8. Botes de tomate (17 cajas grandes).
9. Huevos (20 cajas de 360 huevos cada caja).
10. Queso (cinco cajas de 320 unidades casa caja).
11. Pasta (17 cajas grandes).
12. Leche infantil (una caja).
13. Carne en conserva (una caja grande).
14. Barritas de chocolate (tres cajas grandes).

Notas:

1. El fin de semana 1 y 2 de octubre se iniciaba el ataque contra la localidad de Sida, mientras que era bombardea Ebeidy, según fuentes locales.
2. Para afrontar este gasto se ha remitido a Iraq el día 3 de octubre la cantidad de 4.300 euros (5.000 dólares) del fondo disponible en la cuenta de la campaña sanitaria. Véase en IraqSolidaridad: Iniciativa de apoyo sanitario a Iraq
3. Esta cantidad incluye el gasto de 400 dólares de trasporte (coche y camioneta) y 75 de traslado de un bebé de siete meses para su tratamiento quirúrgico en Bagdad.

'Marines' estadounidenses abren fuego contra colaboradores de la CEOSI en Hadiza

"El 30 de septiembre, durante el transporte de un cargamento de ayuda de emergencia para familias desplazadas de al-Qaim reasentadas en Anna, soldados estadounidenses abrieron fuego contra el vehículo en el que viajan cinco colaboradores de la CEOSI, quienes salieron ilesos del ataque. Los militares estadounidenses -'marines'- dispararon sin previo aviso desde una colina que dominaba la carretera en las proximidades de Hadiza."

El pasado viernes, 30 de septiembre, durante el transporte de un cargamento de ayuda de emergencia para familias desplazadas de al-Qaim reasentadas en Anna [1], soldados estadounidenses abrieron fuego contra el vehículo en el que viajan cinco colaboradores de la CEOSI, dos mujeres y tres hombres, quienes salieron ilesos del ataque.

Los militares estadounidenses -marines- dispararon desde una colina que dominaba la carretera sin previo aviso y al parecer gratuitamente, dado que tras efectuar los disparos se echaron a reír. Ningún otro coche circulaba por la zona. El ataque se produjo en las proximidades de Hadiza.

CEOSI earmarks 3.775 dollars to emergency assistance for Iraqi refugees from al-Qaem

7.450 families already refugees again displaced by US attacks in the area

"Due to the US attacks and shelling in al-Qaim and the surrounding towns and villages, 7.450 refugee families from this area have displaced again to Western Iraq."

In the face of new offensives by the Pentagon in the Western zone of Iraq, 7.450 families, previously refugees from al-Qaem, ha been forced to a new internal displacement . US military forces and the Iraqi National Guard re-launched finally their aerial and land strikes in the area of al-Qaim and other nearly cities and towns (Ebeidi, Rabot, Sida, etc.) in the first days of October. [1].

Those new US contra-insurgent operations were proceeded by the statements of the Iraqi Defense Ministry, Saadun Aa-Doleimi, while a new attack was launching against Tal Afar. Ad-Doleimi advanced new reprisal operations against the cities of al-Qaim, Ramadi, Rawa and Haditha.

The new location of the refugees families newly displaced is as follows, according to local no official resources:

The Humanitarian Relief Committee created in Anaa (who gave these information to ythe interlocutors of CEOSI in Baghdad) have informed that there are few hundreds of families still besieged in the dangerous areas, they could not leave for several different reasons. As an example, Saturday night, 1st October, seven members of the same family were all shot dead on they way from al-Qaim by shots from the US occupiers soldiers from Marine Corps, reports this local organization.

Emergency assistance from CEOSI

The Humanitarian Relief Committee in Anaa said to our Iraqi interlocutors that the most urgent needs for these refugee camps are tents, mattresses, blankets (it is getting too cold at night, specially in the desert), any kind of food and medicines.

Taking this relation into consideration, CEOSI have destined some available founds [2] for an immediate buying of food amounting the sum of 3.775 dollars [3] as detailed next and according is showed in the Arab written bills included [4]- that have been distributed between the refugees in Anna (see the pictures):

Notes:
1. Last weekend, 1st and 2nd October started the attack against the town of Sida, while Ebeidy was bombarded, according to local resources.

US 'Marine' open fire against CEOSI collaborators in Haditha

"Last Friday, 30th September, while transporting a load of emergency assistance to displaced families from al-Qaem reallocated in Anna, US soldiers opened fire against the car in which five collaborators of CEOSI were traveling, two women and three men that were not injured by the attack. US effectives - marine- shoot without warning from a hill from which the highway was military controlled. The attack was launched near Haditha".

Last Friday, 30th September, while transporting a load of emergency assistance to displaced families from al-Qaem reallocated in Anna [1], US soldiers opened fire against the car in which five collaborators of CEOSI were traveling, two women and three men that were not injured by the attack.

US soldiers - marine- shoot from a hill from which the highway was military controlled, without warning and for free, given the fact that they were laughing after shooting. Any other car was circulating at the moment in that area. The attack was launched near Haditha.
